OUR STORY

It started with Kuro.

Like a lot of dog parents, we wanted to share the foods we loved with him, the things that we would have cravings for, and the things that he would beg for! However, we also wanted it to be good for him. Not just treat-shaped filler, but something real. Something we'd feel good about.

That question "How do we share what we love with our dog, the right way?" became the foundation for everything we make.

Phoenix Claws is the first obvious intersection; a nod to a food we love, translated into something made for dogs. Made with ingredients that have a reason to be there, nothing more. That's where the Dim Sum Series was born, and we hope to create a line of treats that reflect these aspirations.

Our Single Ingredient Series treats, like our Chicken Strips, focus on ingredients that are good for our dogs, but also create a convenience for dog parents. Whole meats are scored so you can easily break them apart for training or portioning for everyday treats.

Patience is part of the recipe. We'll take the extra step to make sure the treats we make are the best for you, and your dog(s)!

That means paying close attention to where our ingredients come from, removing unnecessary parts (like claws) and scoring our treats so you can feed them how you like. It's a longer process that we believe produces better & tastier results. 

We're a small operation, and we like it that way. It keeps us close to what matters.

From wanting to share these treats with Kuro and eventually with everyone else's dogs - Kuro Treats was created.
